This years staff masrace (The only fishing competition in maldives) was again another great event. The competition held between the department's of Ooredoo Maldives. Team finance, HR, Customer care, Technology and our team commercial participated. The race started at 1600hrs, with Boduberu ( Maldivian Traditional music instrument) music and lots and lots of food for our breakfast. Had couple of stops and tried for some catch, but due to the strong tides and rough sea, it was really hard. All of us tried really hard and luckily got some barracudas and also a red snapper before the reporting time, which is 2230hrs. We came to the event ground around 2245 and knew that technology team was disqualified, because they were late. So the fight was between 4 of our departments. The champions were Team finance and we were the second, while CC was the fourth and HR was on third. Hoping to get first on next year.
